CARING FOR YOUR ARTWORK

Ensure your preservation lasts a lifetime.

Preserving Your Memories

Your flowers have been carefully preserved into a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Like any handmade item, a little care goes a long way. Especially when it comes to direct sunlight, temperature, and cleaning products. Use the sections below to find care instructions for pressed frames, resin pieces, and shadow boxes.

Pressed Frames

AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
UV rays can fade pressed florals over time.
AVOID HUMIDITY
Keep away from bathrooms, kitchens, and humidifiers to protect the artwork.
CLEAN GENTLY
Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust from the frame surface. Do not spray cleaners directly on the acrylic. If needed, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth first and wipe gently.

Resin Preservation

AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Sun exposure can cause yellowing or discoloration over time.
AVOID HEAT
Keep away from hot surfaces, stoves, and prolonged heat exposure. Use cool or lukewarm water only, especially for trays and coasters.
GENTLE CLEANING ONLY
Wipe with a microfiber cloth; use mild soap + cool water if needed, then dry immediately.
DO NOT CUT OR PIERCE
Never use knives or sharp objects on resin; it can scratch or chip. We use VOC-free, food-grade safe resin, but pieces are not intended as cutting boards or to have forks, knives, or other utensils taken to them.
NOT DISHWASHER OR MICROWAVE SAFE
Hand wash only, never place resin pieces in the dishwasher. Resin is not microwave safe.

Shadow Boxes

AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
UV rays can fade florals and materials over time.
AVOID HUMIDITY
Keep out of bathrooms and kitchens to prevent moisture exposure. Avoid heat vents, fireplaces, and areas with big temperature swings.
CLEAN GENTLY
Use a dry microfiber cloth on the exterior surface. Do not spray cleaners directly on the acrylic. If needed, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth first and wipe gently.
KEEP LEVEL + SECURE
Display on a stable surface or hang securely to prevent shifting.

Realistic Expectations

Your keepsake will naturally age with you over time. You may notice gentle changes in color and texture as the years go on. Proper care helps keep those changes slow.
