Returns & Refunds

Section 1 – Products

Certain products or Service may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or Service may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to Bouquet Casting Co.'s Refund Policy (detailed below).

By purchasing a preservation service, Client acknowledges the handmade nature of the Product and agrees to the artistic and chemical variances described in Section F.

The Client further acknowledges that only items explicitly listed in their submitted order details and/or Order Information Sheet are intended for preservation. Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for identifying, preserving, or returning any items not clearly disclosed by the Client and may, at its discretion, discard or exclude such items from the preservation process without liability.

Section 2 – Refunds, Cancellations, and Artistic Disclaimers

A. General Refund Policy & Artistic Nature

Due to the custom, handmade nature of our products and the irrevocable consumption of resources for each project, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any reason, except where explicitly stated in this Agreement at Bouquet Casting Co.’s sole discretion.

The Client acknowledges that the preservation process involves chemical reactions that will alter the appearance of fresh flowers. White flowers may become translucent or amber; red flowers may deepen in color; and "bruising" (often invisible on fresh flowers) may appear as dark spots once in resin. Minor imperfections, including but not limited to micro-bubbles, layer lines, dust particles, and uneven edges, are inherent to the resin casting process. Furthermore, all epoxy resin may naturally amber (yellow) over time due to UV exposure and oxidation. These aesthetic variations and natural aging processes are not considered defects and do not constitute grounds for a refund, replacement, or "Item Not As Described" claim.

The Client further acknowledges and agrees that dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences—including but not limited to design interpretation, layout, flower placement, color outcome, or overall artistic result—does not constitute a defect and shall not be grounds for any refund, chargeback, replacement, or dispute.

Bouquet Casting Co. does not guarantee exact color matching, flower replication, or visual outcome, particularly in cases involving aged, damaged, or re-created florals. All preservation and re-creation work is performed with reasonable artistic judgment and material availability.

B. Cancellations & Liquidated Damages

Bouquet Casting Co. reserves production time and purchases materials specifically for each order. Consequently, the following cancellation terms apply:

Cancellations 30+ Days Prior:
If Client cancels their order more than thirty (30) days prior to us receiving their flowers, a partial refund will be considered, and we will retain the $75 deposit as a non-refundable administrative fee.

Cancellations Under 30 Days and Post-Event:
For cancellations made thirty (30) days or less prior to our receipt of the Client’s flowers, or if the Client fails to follow required shipping instructions, we will retain $400 of the order total.

If the Client cancels after the event date has passed, no refunds shall be issued. Any exception to this policy is made solely at our discretion on a case-by-case basis and shall not constitute a waiver of this or any other provision.

If production work has begun at any stage—including but not limited to drying, design preparation, material sourcing, or casting—no refunds shall be issued regardless of cancellation timing.

Nature of Retained Funds:
The Client agrees that the retained amounts ($75 or $400) constitute Liquidated Damages—an agreed-upon amount to cover administrative costs, material allocation, and the opportunity cost of the reserved production slot that can no longer be filled by other clients—and are not a penalty.

C. Inbound Shipping & Flower Quality

Bouquet Casting Co. acts as a bailee of the Client’s property only upon documented receipt of the package at our studio. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or delay involving the Client’s flowers while in transit to our facility.

Clients are responsible for following all provided shipping instructions, including but not limited to packaging requirements, timing of shipment, box dimensions, and contents. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage, degradation, or unusable materials, and such outcomes shall not be eligible for refund, replacement, or compensation.

Only items disclosed by the Client as part of their order are intended for preservation. Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for identifying, preserving, returning, or compensating for any items sent but not disclosed. Such items may be discarded at our discretion without liability.

Upon receipt, we agree to communicate concerns to the Client in a timely manner if the quality of the flowers does not meet our production standards. Excessive wilting, mold, browning, discoloration, pest contamination, or other conditions that render materials unsuitable for preservation will be communicated. Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to discard unsafe or unusable materials at its discretion.

Options may include bouquet recreation or the replacement of select flowers at an additional cost. If the Client chooses not to proceed based on the condition of the received flowers, the order will be treated as a cancellation subject to the Liquidated Damages clause above.

D. Refund Procedure

In the rare event Bouquet Casting Co. elects to consider a refund outside of the terms above, Clients must reach out within five (5) business days of the issue arising. After five (5) business days, no refunds are permitted, and we will proceed with the current flowers at hand in their current condition and the current order.

Bouquet Casting Co. reserves sole and final discretion in determining eligibility for any refund or accommodation.

E. Shipping Damages (Outbound) & Liability Cap

If the Client receives their fulfilled order and the final product(s) are damaged from transit, the Client has seven (7) days from the delivery date to bring this to Bouquet Casting Co.'s attention. Bouquet Casting Co., at its discretion, may offer to repair the damages. Beyond the seven (7) days, we hold no further responsibility for damages resulting from transit, storage, handling, or usage.

Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for shipping carrier delays, misdelivery, loss, or handling issues once the package has been transferred to the carrier.

Improper care, including but not limited to exposure to heat, direct sunlight, moisture, chemicals, or physical impact, voids any responsibility on the part of Bouquet Casting Co.

Any modification, alteration, or tampering with the product after delivery voids all responsibility and eligibility for repair or consideration.

Force Majeure & Liability Cap

In the event of fire, flood, theft, natural disaster, or other "Act of God" that results in the destruction of the Client’s flowers while in our possession, Bouquet Casting Co.'s liability is strictly limited to a full refund of the specific price paid to Bouquet Casting Co. for the service.

We are not liable for the sentimental value of the flowers, the cost of the original florist bill, third-party costs, or emotional distress.

The Client agrees that repair, replacement, or refund (if offered) shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy under this Agreement.

F. Abandonment / Unpaid Invoices / Client Non-Responsiveness

If any invoice issued by Bouquet Casting Co.—including but not limited to invoices for add-on products, additional services, shipping-related charges, replacement flowers, or other order-related fees—remains unpaid for thirty (30) days, or if the Client becomes non-responsive for thirty (30) days, Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to take action necessary to close out or complete the order.

Bouquet Casting Co. will make reasonable efforts to keep the project on track and communicate with the Client, but timely cooperation and payment are required. If the Client fails to respond, fails to provide required information or approvals, or fails to pay an outstanding invoice for thirty (30) days, Bouquet Casting Co. may, in its sole discretion: (i) proceed with the order as-is using its best professional judgment; (ii) place the order on hold until the balance is resolved; or (iii) in rare circumstances, cancel the order and issue a partial refund, if any, in an amount determined solely by Bouquet Casting Co. based on work completed, materials used, time reserved, and costs incurred.

If the project has already been completed and any invoice or shipping balance remains unpaid for thirty (30) days, Bouquet Casting Co. may deem the order abandoned and may retain, dispose of, or resell the item(s) to recover labor, materials, shipping, storage, and administrative costs, with no further compensation or refund due to the Client.

G. Timeline & Client Responsibility

All production timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Variations in drying time, material behavior, order volume, and production scheduling may result in delays. Such delays do not constitute grounds for refunds, cancellations, or disputes.

If the Client becomes unresponsive for a period exceeding fourteen (14) days at any stage requiring input, approval, or clarification, Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to proceed with production using reasonable professional judgment. The Client agrees that decisions made in their absence are binding and not grounds for refund, revision, or dispute.

H. Third-Party Services

Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for the performance, actions, or failures of third parties, including but not limited to shipping carriers, florists, suppliers, or any external services involved in the Client’s order.

I. Non-Transferability

This Agreement applies solely to the original purchasing Client and may not be transferred or assigned without written consent from Bouquet Casting Co.
