Shipping Policy
1. Shipment Processing & Production Timelines
Nature of Production
Client acknowledges that Bouquet Casting Co. creates custom, handmade art. The preservation process involves organic materials that dry and cure at unpredictable rates. As such, all turnaround times listed are estimates only.
Estimated Lead Times
Standard Processing: Typically at least 36 weeks from the date we receive your flowers.
Peak Season (April–October): Timelines may extend beyond 40 weeks due to high volume.
Variable Factors: Production time varies based on flower thickness, required color restoration, resin curing conditions, humidity, order volume, and other production variables.
Time is Not of the Essence
Client agrees that Time is not of the essence regarding this agreement. Delays in production do not constitute a breach of contract and do not entitle the Client to a refund or cancellation. We operate generally on a FIFO (First In, First Out) basis, though individual variation in flower drying times may alter the final completion order.
Communication
We will communicate significant delays via email. Please note that our team does not process orders on weekends or holidays.
Shipping and Delivery Estimates
Any shipment dates, estimated arrival dates, or carrier delivery windows provided by Bouquet Casting Co. or displayed by a shipping carrier are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather events, service interruptions, holidays, routing errors, and other third-party logistics issues are outside of Bouquet Casting Co.’s control and do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or liability.
2. Inbound Shipping (Client to Studio)
Client Responsibility
The Client is responsible for following all shipping, packaging, and timing instructions provided by Bouquet Casting Co. for fresh flowers and any approved mementos being sent to our studio. Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for flowers or other items that are lost, delayed, damaged, frozen, overheated, crushed, moldy, rotted, leaking, or otherwise compromised during transit to our facility, except as expressly provided under the BloomSafe provisions below.
Free Prepaid Label
Bouquet Casting Co. may provide one (1) complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label per event. This complimentary label is limited to one label total per event, regardless of the number of separate orders, purchasers, family members, or recipients associated with that event. For example, if multiple individuals place separate orders relating to the same wedding, memorial, or other event, only one complimentary inbound label will be provided for that event unless Bouquet Casting Co., in its sole discretion, agrees otherwise.
The complimentary label is provided subject to Bouquet Casting Co.’s packing, box size, weight, timing, and content instructions. Use of a complimentary label does not shift transit risk, packaging responsibility, or shipping compliance obligations to Bouquet Casting Co.
Business, Commercial, and Partner Order Exception
The complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label is intended for qualifying individual consumer/client orders only and is not guaranteed for business, commercial, wholesale, referral-partner, florist, funeral home, venue, planner, reseller, collaborator, affiliate, organization, or other non-consumer orders.
Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether an order is a business, commercial, partner, referral, bulk, or non-consumer order based on any facts or circumstances surrounding the order, including but not limited to the identity of the purchaser, the intended recipient, the purpose of the order, the nature of the relationship between the parties, the use of referral or partner arrangements, the number of orders associated with a single event, or any indication that the order is connected to a business, organization, commercial arrangement, or resale activity.
Orders placed by or through florists, funeral homes, venues, planners, referral partners, business entities, organizations, or other commercial sources may be denied complimentary label eligibility even if the order otherwise meets the minimum order threshold. Bouquet Casting Co. may instead require the purchaser or client to pay shipping costs, use an alternative shipping arrangement, arrange local drop-off, or follow other instructions provided by Bouquet Casting Co.
Bouquet Casting Co.’s determination of whether an order qualifies for a complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label is final and made in its sole discretion. Denial of complimentary label eligibility for a business, commercial, or partner-related order shall not constitute a refund event, breach, waiver, or basis for cancellation.
Free Prepaid Label Eligibility and Exceptions
The complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label is offered only for qualifying orders meeting Bouquet Casting Co.’s current minimum order threshold of $400 or more per event, unless otherwise expressly approved by Bouquet Casting Co. in writing. If the total qualifying order value for a given event is less than $400, the Client is not eligible for a complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label.
The complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label is offered for consumer/client orders only and is not guaranteed for wholesale, business, referral partner, florist, funeral home, venue, planner, reseller, or other commercial/business-related orders. Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny, withhold, limit, or revoke complimentary label eligibility for any business, commercial, bulk, partner, referral, or non-consumer order.
The complimentary prepaid inbound shipping label is also not guaranteed for Clients located within twenty (20) miles of Bouquet Casting Co.’s studio or designated local service area. For Clients located within that radius, Bouquet Casting Co. may require local drop-off, local pickup, or another alternative arrangement in lieu of providing a complimentary inbound label.
Label eligibility is determined by Bouquet Casting Co. in its sole discretion based on order value, event grouping, delivery location, order type, and any other operational factors Bouquet Casting Co. deems relevant. Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to refuse, withhold, cancel, or invoice for shipping label use that does not comply with these requirements.
Box Size, Weight, and Permitted Contents
Unless otherwise expressly approved in writing, Clients using a complimentary label must follow Bouquet Casting Co.’s stated shipment requirements, including but not limited to the required or recommended box dimensions, weight limitations, and permitted contents. Clients are instructed to send only one full bouquet of flowers and only those mementos or materials specifically permitted by Bouquet Casting Co. and intended for preservation, along with any required packing materials and order documentation, unless otherwise instructed by Bouquet Casting Co.
Clients must not include unrelated items, unnecessary packing materials, excessive filler, extra bouquets, unapproved keepsakes, or other items outside of Bouquet Casting Co.’s instructions. Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for any unapproved, excess, or undisclosed contents and may discard or exclude such items without liability.
Order Information Sheet / Listed Items Only
Clients are instructed to complete and include Bouquet Casting Co.’s Order Information Sheet, including identifying information and a list of the items enclosed. Only items clearly disclosed by the Client and intended for preservation will be treated as part of the order. Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for identifying, preserving, returning, or compensating for items that are sent but not listed or otherwise disclosed by the Client. Unlisted items may be discarded, excluded from preservation, or handled at Bouquet Casting Co.’s discretion without liability.
Shipping Timing Requirements
Clients must follow Bouquet Casting Co.’s shipment timing instructions, including all deadlines for shipping flowers after the event date. Unless otherwise approved by Bouquet Casting Co. in writing, we must receive the Client’s florals within five (5) calendar days of the event date. Late shipment may result in deterioration, discoloration, mold, or unusable flowers. Failure to ship in time for delivery within this five (5) day period may void eligibility for any inbound transit accommodations, including but not limited to BloomSafe coverage.
Excess Charges / Label Abuse
If a Client uses the complimentary label contrary to Bouquet Casting Co.’s instructions, including but not limited to by exceeding permitted box dimensions, materially exceeding the expected weight range, including unapproved contents, combining multiple events into one shipment, or otherwise causing additional carrier charges, Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to invoice the Client for the excess shipping cost, surcharge, adjustment, or other associated charge actually incurred. Client agrees to pay such charges upon invoice.
Blossom Box
Bouquet Casting Co. may offer a purchasable shipping kit known as a Blossom Box, which includes materials and instructions to assist Clients in packing and shipping flowers and approved mementos to our studio. The Blossom Box is generally recommended only for events that have not yet occurred and are more than three (3) days away. While Bouquet Casting Co. may provide website tools or guidance to help Clients determine whether a Blossom Box is appropriate, the Client remains solely responsible for ensuring that flowers are packed and shipped properly and on time.
Purchase or use of a Blossom Box does not guarantee transit success, flower condition, preservation outcome, or eligibility for refund.
Transfer of Liability / Bailment
Our legal responsibility for the Client’s property (Bailment) begins only when the package is physically received, opened or accepted, and logged by our studio. Bailment does not begin when a label is created, when a package is dropped off with a carrier, when tracking first activates, when the package is scanned at a carrier facility, or when tracking reflects delivery to a general building, mailbox area, or third-party receiving point. Until Bouquet Casting Co. has actually received and logged the shipment at our studio, all transit risk remains with the Client, except as expressly stated under BloomSafe.
Unsafe or Improper Packages
Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to refuse, safely dispose of, isolate, or otherwise handle any package that arrives leaking, infested, mold-contaminated, biohazardous, structurally compromised, improperly packed, or otherwise unsafe for staff, facilities, or other client materials. Bouquet Casting Co. shall not be liable for materials discarded or excluded for safety, sanitation, contamination, or operational reasons.
BloomSafe (Inbound Florals Only)
Bouquet Casting Co. may provide complimentary BloomSafe coverage for inbound florals only. BloomSafe applies solely to the Client’s fresh flowers while in transit to our studio and does not apply to finished preservation products on their way back to the Client.
If the Client followed all shipping, packing, and timing instructions provided by Bouquet Casting Co., including but not limited to shipping within the required timeframe after the event and using the required or approved packaging method, Bouquet Casting Co. may, at its sole discretion, replace blooms as needed at no additional floral sourcing cost to the Client if the flowers are materially damaged, wilted, or lost in transit.
BloomSafe applies only to florals and does not apply to non-floral mementos, sentimental items, charms, ribbons, stationery, photographs, fur, hair, heirlooms, jewelry, or any other non-floral contents. BloomSafe does not provide cash reimbursement, does not guarantee an exact floral match, and does not create liability for sentimental value, florist value, emotional distress, or consequential damages. Bouquet Casting Co. reserves sole discretion in determining BloomSafe eligibility, the extent of any floral replacement, and whether a transit issue qualifies for accommodation.
3. Outbound Shipping (Studio to Client) & Rates
Shipping Rates
Orders over $400: Eligible for free standard shipping within the contiguous United States.
Surcharges: Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to invoice the Client for additional shipping costs if the delivery address is in a remote area requiring carrier surcharges, if the Client requests special handling, upgraded shipping, rerouting, signature service, hold-for-pickup, address correction, or split shipment, or if shipping rates increase significantly (over 20%) between the time of order and the time of fulfillment.
Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to select the outbound carrier, service level, packaging method, shipment timing, and whether signature confirmation or other delivery protections will be used.
Address Accuracy
Due to the lengthy production time (8+ months), it is the Client’s sole responsibility to notify Bouquet Casting Co. of any change of address.
Address changes must be submitted via email to info@bouquetcasting.com and confirmed by a member of our team.
Changing an address in a user profile or payment app does not guarantee our shipping software will update.
Bouquet Casting Co. is not liable for packages delivered to an old address if the Client failed to provide direct email notice of a move.
If a package is returned to Bouquet Casting Co. due to an incorrect address, outdated address, refusal, failure to collect, inaccessible delivery location, or any other issue attributable to the Client or the destination, the Client is responsible for all re-shipping, address correction, storage, and related costs before the order will be shipped again.
Outstanding Balances
Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to hold shipment of any completed order until all outstanding invoices, shipping-related balances, surcharges, or other order-related charges have been paid in full.
4. Damages, Loss & Insurance
Risk of Loss
Ownership of the finished product and the Risk of Loss pass to the Client the moment Bouquet Casting Co. hands the package to the shipping carrier (USPS/UPS/FedEx or other carrier selected by us). We are not liable for packages lost, stolen, delayed, misdelivered, damaged in transit, forwarded, intercepted, left unattended, or affected by carrier handling once tendered to the carrier.
Damages Protocol
If an order arrives damaged:
Immediate Action: Client must notify Bouquet Casting Co. within seven (7) days of delivery.
Evidence: Client must retain all original packaging and the damaged item. Do not throw anything away. Take photos of the box (exterior and interior) and the damage.
Claims: If a carrier claim is available, Client is responsible for reasonably cooperating in the claim process. Bouquet Casting Co. may, but is not required to, assist by providing available documentation. Carrier claim decisions are outside of Bouquet Casting Co.’s control, and our cooperation does not constitute acceptance of liability or guarantee claim approval.
Repairs: At our sole discretion, we may offer to repair transit damages. The Client may be responsible for return shipping costs to our studio for repairs.
Lost Package Reporting
If the Client believes a finished order has been lost in transit, the Client must notify Bouquet Casting Co. within a reasonable time after the expected delivery date and, in any event, no later than fourteen (14) days after the last carrier tracking update reflecting movement or attempted delivery. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may limit or eliminate available carrier remedies.
Packaging and Carrier Handling
Bouquet Casting Co. uses reasonable care in packaging completed orders for transit, but cannot guarantee against all carrier mishandling, crushing, impact, exposure, theft, delay, or environmental damage once the shipment is in carrier custody.
5. International Shipping & P.O. Boxes
Geographic Limitations
We do not currently ship to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address is required.
We do not currently offer international shipping. Orders are accepted from and shipped to the United States only.
Bouquet Casting Co. reserves the right to refuse shipment to any address, region, or destination that presents carrier restrictions, elevated loss risk, excessive surcharge exposure, or operational impracticality.
6. Taxes & Duties
Bouquet Casting Co. is not responsible for any customs, taxes, tariffs, import charges, brokerage fees, or other governmental or carrier-imposed charges applied to an order. All such fees, if any, are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns & Refunds
For details regarding cancellations, artistic variances, and our strict no-refund policy, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy. By proceeding with a shipment, you acknowledge you have read and agreed to those terms. In the event of overlap between this Shipping Policy and the Return & Refund Policy, both shall be interpreted to give maximum effect to Bouquet Casting Co.’s protections and remedies.
